The chemical formula of mineral Arsenocrandallite is indicated by (Ca,Sr)Al3[(As,P)O4]2(OH)5•(H2O). Arsenocrandallite is most commonly found occuring as a secondary mineral on specimens from a mine dump at Neubulach, Germany. This mineral is usually found at its type of locality at Neubulach, and in the Clara mine, near Oberwolfach, Black Forest, Germany. At the Centennial Eureka mine, Tintic district, Juab Co., Utah, USA. This mineral was named for “arsenic” in the composition, and relation to “crandallite.” Arsenocrandallite is known to crystallize in the trigonal system of crystal formation.

            Mineral Arsenocrandallite has no cleavage display even if it is evaluated more closely with the aid of petrographic polarizing light microscope used in the field of optical mineralogy. It is most commonly found colored blue or blue green and most often found more splendid when viewed with the aid of polarized microscope for mineraloggists. The specific gravity measure of the mineral is usually found 3.25 grams per cubic centimeters. Most crystals of mineral Arsenocrandallite are found transparent in appearance. The fracture exhibited by mineral Arsenocrandallite is usually found conchoidal. This is usually a fracture developed in brittle materials characterized by smoothly curving surfaces. The hardness measure of mineral Arsenocrandallite is usually found 5.5. It is also most commonly found exhibiting vitreous or glassy luster when viewed under petrographic polarizing light microscope used in the field of optical mineralogy. Arsenocrandallite is most commonly found leaving a white streak when rubbed on white porcelain streak plate. Mineral Arsenocrandallite is also most commonly found showing uniaxial figure when evaluated more closely with the aid of polarizing microscope for mineralogists. It has no birefringince as evalauated. Arsenocrandallite is a non-radioactive mineral.
